Hydrostatic Testing National Hydro Cylinder Testing Services has the capability to hydrostatically test to various pressures. We can test to as low as 1.0 MPA or as high as 100 MPA, with either a Proof Test or a Volumetric Expansion Test. **Reliable Hydrostatic Pressure Tests with the XP2i Digital Pressure Gauge** For all quality assurance, our station has invested in crystal engineering XP2i data log pressure gauges. Being one of the most accurate test gauges available on the market, and offering data logging capabilities, it allows us to offer a service to meet all quality assurance requirements as Hydrostatic Pressure Tests are rigorous safety assessment to ensure that gas pressurised cylinders, pipelines, spools, and other pressurised equipment can operate and sustain their test pressure levels. It is important to collect, analyse, and store the data gathered from these tests to optimize performance and ensure quality in the future. NDT - Non Destructive Testing National Hydro Cylinder Testing Services uses three types of Non Destructive Testing procedures X-Ray, Ultrasonically, Dye Penetrant to test welds or wall structures for examining for cracks and flaws within an object such as a weld on a pressure vessel or the neck threads on a gas cylinder. Through our involvement with Defence ITAR classified equipment testing, we have been able to provide the ADF confidence that high pressure cylinders associated or integrated with assets are safe to operate under normal & extreme environments. Our testing comprises of water jacket or non-water jacket testing / NDT die penetration testing / Quality Assurance compliance Data Logging testing. Aviation Fire System Australia Every commercial/business aircraft has many pressurised vessels on board. These include oxygen bottles, portable fire extinguishers, emergency air bottles, and engine and APU fire extinguishers. All must be inspected and tested at specific intervals to ensure container strength and integrity. Aviation Fire Systems Australia provides sustainment in the field of aircraft component maintenance services involving testing and releasing various aircraft pressurised bottles. Workshop services can range from testing aircraft fire safety cylinders, oxygen life support cylinders, inflation cylinders to structural testing of aviation hydraulic pressure lines. The workshop is able to perform non-destructive testing on various components of the aircraft fuselage, fixed-wing & rotary-wing, and associated equipment. In addition, our Licensed Aviation Maintenance Engineers (LAME) can sign off and release all of the associated equipment. We are also able to assist with our sister company National Hydro Cylinder Testing Services in providing service in the realm of quality-assured data logged structural pressure testing. Our workshop capabilities allow us to provide a quality service in relation to hydrostatic pressure testing and our expertise allows us to obtain extremely accurate testing from .05MPa up to 1,000MPa, 500kPa up to 100,000kPa and 5bar up to 1,000bar. National Hydro Cylinder Testing Services has been servicing the aviation community since 2005. Qualified and experienced staff, who are approved signatories, carry out low-pressure and high-pressure testing on: Gas Cylinders | Air Hoses | Hydraulic Pipe and Tubing | Water and Gas Pipes and Spools | Firefighting Cylinders & Fire Extinguishers. Regarding fire extinguishers, we fill and service most brands, models, and types of firefighting cylinders. Testing and certification of existing cylinders allows continued use, saving the importation of replacements and achieving reduced scrap or landfill.
